Before you order

We're delivering as usual within the EU and most other parts of the world, but sometimes with delay. Keep in mind this also depends on your local postal services - so sometimes it can take a few weeks extra. Our warehouse team however is still – under strict health and safety precautions – up and running, shipping your packages as usual. Most of our suppliers are delivering steadily as well.
Please bear with us if it takes a little longer than you’re used to.
All orders are placed through our Webshop or Bandcamp; to ensure everything goes smoothly please double check if your address is up to date on both Bandcamp and PayPal. This is to ensure your order is mailed to the correct address since all our orders are processed and shipped automatically from a separate facility. During checkout you can fill in the address you want your order sent to. We also offer express checkout with Paypal - however please make sure the address is also correct in there!
Again we can not stress enough to make sure to update your addresses on PayPal and Bandcamp before ordering. We would would feel sorry for your order to be mailed to the wrong address...If this would happen after you received a shipping notification we can have it resend to you at your own costs.
Hiraeth Records' releases are available through our Webshop and our Bandcamp. The Webshop offers better prices and the option of Tracked shipments. Bandcamp is a music platform which offers an immediate download of the album in the format of your choice and adds it to your collection. No worries for Bandcamp users: all our official Hiraeth Records releases come with a download card for Bandcamp!
We also offer the option of buying titles which are not released by Hiraeth Records, but are distributed by us - mostly for European and Asian market - choose 'Distro' to take a look what we have in stock from other labels. Please keep in mind that we do not have any influence on the quality, packing and extra's (like a download card) of these items. (Distro is coming Summer 2020)
Please click on “shop” in the top menu and make the choice if you want to buy directly from the Webshop, from Bandcamp or choose Distro if you want to take a look at our Distro titles. If you see an item you like which is in stock; add it to your cart. If you see an item with the status 'Read more' it means it's out of stock. Continue shopping or go to check out by clicking on the basket icon. Choose your shipping method (we recommend tracked), fill in your details and pay by using PayPal. You should receive a confirmation email in your inbox after completion.

We’re sorry to inform you that we are unable to reserve records at this time. The reason being is our orders and shipments are processed automatically through a separate facility. We try to keep a good number of albums on hand, but unfortunately we do sometimes run out.
Represses can happen though so if you missed an album and want a copy be sure to follow us on Facebook, our Twitter or follow our Bandcamp page. You can also sign up for our mailing list to receive updates on represses and future releases.
We’re sorry to inform you that we are unable to have albums autographed by the artist directly. The reason being is that our records are shipped from a separate facility and most our artists live in other countries. However, we can try to help you get in contact with the artist if you would like to try and make special arrangements with them, though we can not make any promises or speak on behalf of the artists.
We press our premium quality vinyl records with granulate on a calcium sink basis, our covers are made from FSC certified paper and cardboard and are printed with eco-friendly ink. The records are pressed within an eco-friendly factory with green, sustainable bio-mass driven technology and green power.
We try to use as less plastic as possible; no shrinkwrap unless we really have to. However, we do use thick plastic outer sleeves to protect your record sleeves. Our items get shipped from the warehouse without bubblewrap, but with re-used paper and cardboard.

Ordering and Shipping

You can order in the webshop or you can order from Bandcamp. Both purchases come with a Bandcamp download code. Have you double checked your address in PayPal (and Bandcamp)?
We prefer you using a standard Paypal account or a creditcard through Paypal, but please do not use "eCheck" payments.
All orders are shipped through a separate facility in the UK. This offers the fastest and cheapest shipping options from Europe. We monitor prices and carriers monthly and adjust shipping prices in your favour when we can.
Yes we do! When you go to the check out page you will be asked if you want to use standard shipping or tracked. When we ship your package, you will receive a tracking number. Please fill in your phone number during checkout so you can receive updates. For Russian and South American orders we highly suggest Tracked shipping!
Please keep in mind that orders from our Bandcamp page are sent out without tracking.
Your order will be processed 1 hour after placing an order. Depending on the amount of orders and workforce it may be packed and shipped some hours or day(s) later. Packing and shipping takes place during UTC time work hours.

We ship our vinyl records outside of the jacket to avoid damage during shipping. Our all records are housed in a protective outer and inner sleeve. Other items will be packed very carefully. However we cannot promise our distro items are packed the same way - we do not have any influence on these items.

After your order

Your order will start to process 1 hour after placing your order. Most orders are shipped within 48 hours. During busy seasons however shipping time may vary. Please keep in mind that orders placed within Europe may take up to 7 days to arrive, and international orders may take up to 2-4 weeks. Shipping to countries on the other side of the planet may take up to a month or longer.
Orders that don't arrive within two months are usually slowed down, at your post office or lost. Please take in account we do not replace or refund any orders that don't arrive after three months past date of ordering. Please contact us within two months if you have not received anything yet.
If you placed an order through our webshop and selected 'tracking' you will automatically receive a tracking number after the order has shipped out. If you purchased through Bandcamp you will receive no tracking number. Make sure you inserted your phone number during check out! You will receive text updates about track and trace.

If an order has been shipped out there is nothing we can do to call it back. It will either be delivered to the address you gave or it will return to our warehouse. If an item returns in good condition we can resend the package to your new address at your own costs.
Placing an order with the correct address is the responsibility of the buyer; we have warned you in the first FAQ about this.
With every physical item you purchased in our webshop you will get a card with a download code. You can redeem the code on our Bandcamp page to add the album to your Bandcamp collection and stream it from there. If you purchased an item from our Bandcamp you will automatically be directed to a download page. From there choose any format you want. Distro items may not have a download card as they're not produced by Hiraeth Records.
All our releases are also on Spotify, if you wish to use Spotify.
We are very sorry to hear your order is damaged! Please contact us ASAP (within 20 working days after purchase) and we will do our best to help you out. Keep in mind you also need to provide evidence of the damage. Small damages caused by shipping or small production errors will not be replaced. We test our vinyl testpressings extensively.
Please keep in mind that we do not have any influence on the quality and packing of the Distro items. Due to the low availability of these items, we cannot not replace these items.

Other information

Sometimes our newsletters or automated emails end up in the spam folder or in different tabs if you use Gmail. If you are an Yahoo or AOL user there's a big chance our emails get blocked. There is nothing we can do about it except to wait untill our mailserver will be removed from the blacklist after 72 hours. This is a common and known problem among shops and Yahoo/AOL users, however both of them offer no solution.
If you would like to submit a demo to us please visit this page. Please read the requirements for submitting very carefully. Submissions with no explanation or whatsoever will be deleted without listening.
